Pray and ask God to reveal any specific sins in your life.
On a piece of paper, write down any sin you need to acknowledge before God. Be completely honest, this is just between you and God.
Write down the promise of 1 John 1:9 over your list: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”
Thank God for the forgiveness he has provided for you through what Jesus did on the cross. Ask God to help you change to become more like Jesus.
Tear up the list and throw it away to remind you that your sin has been removed.
