Sharing Our Stories

Real life experience is hard to beat. Told the right way, real life experiences will connect your hearts in a way that you’re hoping for.

Likewise telling the story well of what God has done in your life, and how he’s still at work in you, is one of your greatest tools in sharing your faith. No one can argue with your real life experience. 

If we can learn to consistently share how God is at work in our lives with non-believers, it can be the most significant thing God uses to bring them to himself. Unfortunately though, most of us limit sharing these things with other Christians.

• What are some things God has done in your life recently?

• Now imagine you were sharing these things with the people on your lists. Consider together how you might say the same thing to them.

 

Group Discussion

• Why do we not share freely what God is doing in our lives with unbelievers?

• What might be the results if we started sharing these things consistently with the non-Christians in our lives?
