Sharing the Gospel

Below is a video of how to share the gospel through the line diagram method. If your church or ministry would like to teach another gospel tool at this point, go ahead. 

However your friend responds, successful witnessing is simply taking the initiative to share Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit and leaving the results to God.

If you get to share the gospel with someone, there are three likely responses that are worth preparing for.

What if they say “yes”?

If your friend is not yet ready to follow Jesus but they still seem interested, a great next step could be going through the “Explore” conversation series together. Alternatively, if your church is hosting an Alpha course or something similar, you could invite them along to that.

Thank them for their honesty and for the opportunity to share with them. You can continue to serve, enquire and share your experiences of God with them as they give you permission to do so. You can trust that God will continue to work in their lives; nothing you do for him is a waste of time or effort (1 Corinthians 15:58).
